The village of St. Peter
The officially recognised climatic health resort of St. Peter lies on the southern slopes of the Kandel mountain at a height of 520 to 1225 m. This Black Forest village is idyllically situated in the middle of the Black Forest Nature Park and offers a wide variety of holiday and recreation opportunities the whole year round.
History and culture
In terms of art history, the former Benedictine monastery of St. Peter with its baroque church, rococo library and hall of princes is one of the finest complexes in southern Germany.
